A runway incident at Paraburdoo Airport in Western Australia grounded a QantasLink regional flight after the plane possibly clipped another aircraft on the runway tarmac.
QantasLink flight QF1837 was due to depart Paraburdoo for Perth at 4pm.
As the Boeing 717 taxied along the runway about 4.30pm it came too close to a Network Aviation plane.
A Qantas spokesman said there was no evidence the planes touched, however some passengers have reported feeling an impact.
Engineers were assessing the situation in Paraburdoo.
An internal investigation would be launched into incident.
“Passengers on the flight have disembarked and we’re looking at options for those customers now,” the spokesman said.
The QantasLink passengers were forced to disembark, leaving about 100 people stranded in Paraburdoo.
