Aeroflot has opened regular flights to Cancun, Mexico. Three weekly flights SU0158/0159 on the route Moscow – Cancun – Moscow will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight between Russia and Mexico is now the longest in Aeroflot’s route network.
Flights will be operated on Airbus A350, the most advanced wide-body aircraft in Aeroflot’s fleet. Aeroflot’s A350 has a three-class cabin layout with 28 private business class Suites, 24 Comfort economy seats, and 264 Economy class seats. The A350 is fitted with ergonomic seats, the latest in-flight entertainment system with Wi-Fi connection available on board. The spacious cabin, reduced noise and adaptive lighting create a relaxing atmosphere for passengers during long flights.
The inaugural flight to Mexico was celebrated with numerous pleasant surprises. Next to the dedicated check-in counters at Terminal C, there was a music show staged by performers in Mexican national costumes. The visitors could take pictures in a themed photo zone. At boarding, each passenger received a souvenir set. Welcome cocktails were served to passengers in all classes of service at boarding. Upon arrival in Cancun the aircraft was greeted with a water arch.
Cancun is a major resort city on the Yucatan Peninsula washed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Thanks to a mild maritime climate it’s a year-round resort. It is famous for endless white sand beaches, hotels, restaurants and nightlife. Travellers can go sightseeing to the Maya civilization architectural artifacts. Russian citizens do not need vaccination certificates or PCR test results to enter Mexico. Traveller must show an e-permit of entry and an application form completed online.
