Delta’s newest Club in Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) will feature premium beverage offerings like Motor City-made microbrews, along with curated pieces of art from local artists that reflect the beauty and innovation of Detroit.
Opening in time for holiday travel, the 4,600-square-foot space seats up to 100 guests and overlooks the concourse and the existing main Club.
“The opening of a fifth Delta Sky Club in Detroit demonstrates our investment in the city and our customers’ demand for Club experiences,” said Claude Roussel, Managing Director – Delta Sky Clubs. “We've put care into every detail — from the local artwork to the Club design – to create an elevated experience for guests and provide a space that allows them to rest easy this holiday season.”
Some highlights include:
- Artwork that reflects the beauty of Detroit from Michigan-based artists such as Kelly Reemtsen, Robert Denton, Rosalind Tallmadge and Rock Therrien
- A new premium bar that provides guests with access to complimentary beverages as well as upgraded options like premium wines, spirits, beer and signature cocktails.
As a part of a longer-term effort to expand the award-winning Delta Sky Club experience across Delta’s network, Delta has several Club renovations and refreshes slated for 2022 and looks forward to opening new, highly anticipated Clubs at Los Angeles International Airport, New York’s LaGuardia Airport and other key markets next year.
As with all Delta Sky Clubs worldwide, the newest facility will reflect the airline’s high standards for safety and cleanliness, as part of the Delta CareStandard commitment. As we have throughout the pandemic, we continue to partner closely with both medical experts and local health authorities and follow their guidance on all aspects of service.
