That's the Spirit! ...If You Like Cancelled Flights...

Spirit Airlines is having one heck of a week: As of yesterday (Thursday) the airline has cancelled over 1,700 flights, with yesterday seeing over half of its flights cancelled.

What gives?

Spirit says they have been dealing with "overlapping operational challenges" related to weather, staffing shortages, and trouble with their systems which have been causing the delays.

People are returning in droves to go flying, and apparently Spirit wasn't prepared for the onslaught.

Flyers in Atlanta got hosed, as well as Charlotte, were Spirit cancelled ALL their flights on Wednesday. That's the same as putting up the 'closed' sign.

Flights in and out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, including flights to Orlando, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and Fort Myers, Florida. Flights at the Akron-Canton Airport have also been affected.

Frontier Passengers Duct Tape Man to Seat Who Assaulted Flight Attendant

The man in question, 22-year-old Maxwell Berry is in some hot in being charged with 3 counts of battery.

After consuming several alcoholic drinks, Berry groped two flight attendants several times...then punched a third. Berry then punched his ticket...right to jail after the plane landed.

That should give you some reading material...
