Spirit says they have been dealing with "overlapping operational challenges" related to weather, staffing shortages, and trouble with their systems which have been causing the delays.
People are returning in droves to go flying, and apparently Spirit wasn't prepared for the onslaught.
Flights in and out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, including flights to Orlando, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and Fort Myers, Florida. Flights at the Akron-Canton Airport have also been affected.

Filed under 'There's another drunk on a flight who can't obey directions'... a man had to be duct-taped to his seat after he groped two flight attendants and battered another.
The man in question, 22-year-old Maxwell Berry is in some hot water...as in being charged with 3 counts of battery.
After consuming several alcoholic drinks, Berry groped two flight attendants several times...then punched a third. Berry then punched his ticket...right to jail after the plane landed.

Regulators have told Qatar Airways to ground 13 of its Airbus A350s due to a 'faster than expected deterioration' of the fuselage surface below the paint level. Apparently, Qatar Airways Head Akbar Al Baker had been telling Airbus to fix the problem.
Frontier Airlines says even though they have posted better-than-expected financial quarterly reports the Delta Variant of Covid is hurting demand in regards to new flight bookings. Could it be that crazy people duct-taped to their planes (see above) might hurt too?
United Airlines is increasing flights from Houston Bush (IAH) to London Heathrow from 5 times a week to daily.
