Traveling and/or vacationing to Belize just got a whole easier...

The Tourism Board of Belize announced last night (Thursday) that the government of Belize is lifting all Covid-19 restrictions for anyone entering the country effective immediately.

This includes every land (airports) and sea port in to the country of Belize.

Exactly What Do You Need to Enter Belize Now?

As far as Covid-19 is concerned, nothing...in terms of Covid.

You do not need proof of vaccination and you do not need a negative test document.

An official quote from the Belize Tourism Board reads as follows:

"With the emergence of weaker variants of COVID-19 and with the global trend of restrictions being relaxed, the time has come to take the pressure off of our health systems," said Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health and Wellness for Belize. "We've reached a level where it's now everyone's personal responsibility to decide whether they want to be vaccinated or not."

The Belize government is stressing, however, that in the wake of the most recent variants of Covid (BA.2 and BA.5), they recommend getting fully vaccinated. The press release did not expand or specify if this means they recommend all booster shots as well.
