Emirates to Resume Dubai – Haneda Route in the Spring

January 16, 2023

Emirates plans to resume its popular route between Tokyo-Haneda Airport and its home of Dubai in the Spring as Japan resurges from the pandemic.

Emirates’ has recently added their latest Boeing 777 “Game Changer” aircraft to their fleet, and will be operating flights EK312 and EK313 between Dubai and Haneda. Flight EK312 is scheduled to depart from Dubai International Airport at 07:50hrs local time, arriving into Tokyo Haneda International Airport at 22:35hrs local time. Flight EK313 departs Haneda at 00:05hrs local time, arriving into Dubai International Airport at 06:20hrs local time. All times are subject to change.

The return of this route will not only serve the surging demand for international travel, but also bolster inbound traffic from Emirates' global network of key markets. Additionally, Emirates already operates daily A380 flights to Tokyo-Narita and a daily Boeing 777 service to Osaka. With this move, the airline further expands its presence in Japan.

For two decades, Emirates has been a strong driving force for Japan’s economic development, with Haneda Airport emerging as a key point in the airline's expansive global network. This route, which was inaugurated in 2013, has proven to be an essential conduit for people seeking to travel between Japan and international destinations.

Furthermore, it has been instrumental in stimulating the country's tourism industry and driving bilateral trade. In addition, Emirates also celebrated its 20th anniversary of flights to Osaka – Japan’s second-largest metropolitan city after Tokyo – this year, despite the disruption caused by the pandemic. The airline remains committed to helping accelerate economic growth and recovery in Japan.

The airline's latest Boeing 777-300ER aircraft have been equipped with the company's revolutionary 'Game Changer' private First Class suites that can now be enjoyed on flights to Brussels, Geneva, Nice, London Stansted, Frankfurt and Zurich. This new addition has made Emirates a key player in the global aviation industry.

In addition to Tokyo-Narita, the airline’s flagship A380 is deployed to 40 destinations including London Heathrow, Auckland, Kuala Lumpur and Houston, among others.

Tickets can be booked on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via travel agents. Travellers are also encouraged to check the latest entry requirements.
