December 24, 2022

Finnair plans to expand its summer international route offerings with some new key routes and the resumption of others.

Finnair will resume flights between Helsinki and Osaka with three weekly flights and will also add flights from Helsinki to Tokyo Narita. The carrier will also add flights to Hong Kong and Delhi (from Helsinki), operating daily to both of these cities during the 2023 summer season.

Flights from Helsinki to Osaka are operated on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Osaka to Helsinki operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting March 26th.

“We are happy to be able to respond to the increasing travel demand between Europe and key Asian destinations. In summer 2023, we will be operating altogether 14 weekly connections between Finland and Japan, and we have daily connections to Delhi and Hong Kong,” says Ole Orvér, Chief Commercial Officer at Finnair. “The Helsinki Airport with its spacious new facilities offers an excellent experience both for customers visiting Finland and for those who continue onwards to one of our many European destinations.”

Finnair offers a wide range of flight schedules connecting Europe to Japan, in cooperation with their long-term partners, Japan Airlines and British Airways. This makes it easier for travelers heading between Europe and Japan to be able to choose a convenient flight plan that best suits their needs. With codeshare agreements in place, customers are able to enjoy a seamless travel experience, with convenient connections and a wide range of flight options across Europe and Japan.

All the flights can be booked at or with travel agents.
