flydubai has announced they will restart flights between Dubai and Turkmenistan commencing January 23rd of 2023.
The beautiful city of Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, will welcome international visitors with flights commencing in the new year. ASB is conveniently located just 8 km away from the city centre and has undergone extensive modernisation and expansion in recent years.
With flydubai's resumption, it further increases their network in Central Asia. With this expansion, flydubai now serves nine cities across five countries - Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan, Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan, Dushanbe in Tajikistan, Samarkand and Tashkent in Uzbekistan, and Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. This enhanced coverage provides travelers with more options for travel within this vibrant region of the world.
Starting from January, travelers have the opportunity to explore seven additional destinations within the airline's network: Cagliari in Italy, Corfu in Greece, Gan in the Maldives, Krabi in Thailand, Milan Bergamo in Italy, Pattaya in Thailand and St. Petersburg in Russia.
This expansion of the network brings its total to 116 destinations in 53 countries worldwide. With these new routes, travelers can explore exotic locales and experience diverse cultures around the globe.
Flights between Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB) and Ashgabat International Airport (ASB) will operate twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Emirates will codeshare on this route offering passengers more options to connect through Dubai’s international aviation hub.
Return Business Class fares from DXB to ASB start from AED 7,350 and Economy Class Lite fares start from AED 2,430. Return Business Class fares from ASB to DXB start from USD 2,000 and Economy Class Lite fares start from USD 660.
