Icelandair announced this week they will launch a new route between Reykjavík Keflavik Airport (KEF) and Tel Aviv Israel (TLV) starting for the summer 2023 season.
Icelandair is offering direct flights between Keflavik Airport and Tel Aviv from May 10th to October 29th, three times a week – on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight duration from Iceland to Tel Aviv is approximately 7 hours.
Providing passengers with an unparalleled level of convenience in connecting to North America. This renewed gateway offers some of the most desirable transatlantic routes, allowing travelers the chance to explore two continents with a single journey.
Tel Aviv is a vibrant, diverse and culturally-rich city located in the Middle East. It is the second largest in Israel and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. With beautiful beaches, historical monuments, museums, galleries and ample cultural attractions, Tel Aviv offers something for everyone.
The new route will also give Tel Aviv locals more travel options to be able to explore Iceland, and greater connectivity to the United States.
Statement by Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair CEO:
“Tel Aviv is an exciting new destination, a perfect fit to our business model and allows us to offer convenient connections between Israel and North America. It is also a great addition to the diverse destinations available for our home market, to and from Iceland, with an interesting mix of culture, history and sunny beaches.”
