JetBlue and United Expand Service in to Bermuda

December 14, 2022

JetBlue has just announced a brand-new seasonal route to Bermuda. Starting in January 2023, travelers will be able to fly nonstop from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York City to Bermuda's L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA)

In addition, United Airlines will be providing service from Newark to Bermuda starting in March 2023. This is six weeks earlier than was originally projected, meaning that customers hoping to take advantage of this route will have their plans materialize sooner than expected.

We're thrilled to resume United Airlines service and welcome JetBlue's expanded service to Bermuda in 2023," said Erin Smith, Bermuda Tourism Authority's Chief Operations Officer. "It's a signal that as our sales and marketing efforts continue to make headway, tourism in Bermuda continues to move in the right direction — and with a 90-minute flight time between the destinations, the island will be the ideal destination for a vacation next year."

Escape to the North Atlantic's Bermuda, situated a mere 650 miles east of Cape Hatteras, NC - and make this New Year memorable with its many fascinating attractions.

The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Weekend (January 13-15) is a thrilling experience for runners. Participants can partake in a 5K, 15K and Half Marathon Race, all of which offer breathtaking coastal views and the opportunity to challenge your endurance on the island's picturesque terrain.

The excitement doesn't end there. Bermuda is the perfect place to rejuvenate during Spa Month in February or take in a rare sighting of humpback whales as they migrate offshore during March and April.
