Boise, Idaho is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, and apparently Spirit Airlines is paying attention...
Yesterday, Spirit operated its first flight out of Boise Airport (BOI), a non-stop flight to Las Vegas (LAS).
Several Boise leaders participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to welcome Spirit to the City of Trees, including Boise City Council President, Elaine Clegg and Boise Metro Chamber President and CEO, Bill Connors.
Spirit's Route from BOI to LAS Gives Boise Expanded Flight Options Through Las Vegas
"It's interesting to see over the last few years just how many airlines have realized Boise is the fastest growing city in the country and they need to be here," Connors said. "It's great to see Spirit here and yes, it's fun to have a connection to Las Vegas if you want to go to Vegas, but Vegas is also a major airport hub. So, you can get from Vegas to almost anywhere else in the world through this particular route."
The new flight provides a convenient way for visitors to explore both Las Vegas and Boise, as it connects the two cities' attractions and recreation opportunities. Travelers can enjoy Las Vegas' world-famous entertainment options as well as Boise's beautiful scenery and abundance of outdoor activities.

Boise IS growing like crazy! More service out of BOI means more options and lower fares in the Pacific Northwest.
