Didn't Delta change boarding a short time back??
Delta Air Lines is set to revise its boarding process, introducing a new sequence that will impact its SkyMiles Diamond Medallion members. Starting May 1, 2024, Diamond Medallion members will no longer have a distinct boarding category, as the Atlanta-based carrier moves to a new numbered zone system.
The updated system will categorize passengers into different boarding zones based on their service class or elite status with Delta or other SkyTeam airlines. Currently, Diamond Medallion flyers board immediately following first class passengers and those needing preboarding. This restructuring aims to streamline the boarding experience across Delta's network.
