Virgin Atlantic Is Moving to a New Terminal at Orlando International…Here’s What You Need to Know Before You Fly

Virgin Atlantic Airbus A350-1000

Travelers connecting through Orlando International on Virgin Atlantic have a logistics update worth saving before their next trip: the airline is relocating from Terminal A to Terminal C effective June 30, 2026.

The move is tied to Terminal C’s ongoing expansion, which is adding four new gates capable of handling both narrow-body and widebody aircraft. Opened in 2022, Terminal C has steadily become MCO’s primary home for international carriers — and Virgin Atlantic’s daily London Heathrow and Manchester flights, plus seasonal Edinburgh service, fit squarely in that lane.

Airport officials say the shift is part of a broader effort to balance passenger loads across terminals, easing pressure on security checkpoints and concessions throughout the airport.

A few practical notes for arriving passengers: the free Mobile Passport Control app can cut customs wait times meaningfully on the international arrivals side. Rental cars remain accessible across all three terminals. And if you’re connecting from Terminals A or B to a Virgin Atlantic departure in Terminal C, the Terminal Link tram is your bridge — it’s free and runs continuously.

Why It Matters: If you’re booked on Virgin Atlantic through Orlando this summer — particularly on the Heathrow or Manchester routes that business travelers use heavily — double-check your terminal before you head to the airport. Terminal A is where you used to go. Terminal C is where you need to be starting June 30.
