JetBlue has announced the commencement of its latest transatlantic service, connecting Boston Logan International Airport with Dublin Airport.
This daily seasonal operation, initiated just days before the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, will continue until the end of September.
Details of the Seasonal Service and Aircraft Configuration
The inaugural flight, JetBlue flight 353, departed from Boston slightly after 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, with an expected arrival in Dublin shortly after 7:25 a.m. on Thursday. Conversely, the return flight, JetBlue flight 354, is slated to leave Dublin at 12 p.m. on Thursday, aiming for a Boston arrival around 3 p.m. the same day.
The airline intends to utilize its Airbus A321neo equipped with Mint, featuring 16 Mint Suite seats for these flights.
JetBlue Aims to Showcase Cultural Bonds with Ireland
Stephanie Pappas, Meet Boston’s vice president of international and sports sales, remarked on the new service, stating, “With this nonstop service to Dublin, we’ll not only be able to showcase the historical and cultural bonds with Ireland, [we’ll be] providing an experience that’s comfortable and easy to visitors.”
The schedule for future departures is subject to adjustments, including shifts related to the transition between standard and daylight saving time across the Atlantic.
JetBlue's Plans for Expansion: Boston to Paris Route Announced
Additionally, JetBlue plans to extend its international footprint with the introduction of a nonstop service from Boston Logan to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport next month. The maiden flight is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, with JetBlue flight 33 departing Boston at 8 p.m. and arriving in Paris at 9:15 a.m. The return flight, JetBlue flight 34, will leave Paris at 11:15 a.m., with an expected arrival in Boston around 1 p.m.
