Qatar Executive (QE), the executive jet branch of Qatar Airways Group, has recently expanded its fleet by acquiring two state-of-the-art Gulfstream G700 aircraft. This addition positions QE as the first operator in the Gulf region and the only international charter service to deploy this model.
Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the CEO of Qatar Airways Group, shared his enthusiasm about the new acquisition. Today we welcome the industry’s highest performance ultra-long-range business jet, Gulfstream G700, to the Qatar Executive fleet. We are proud to enhance our existing fleet of 15 Gulfstream G650ER aircraft with the pinnacle of business aviation excellence and look forward to seeing our guests on board soon to experience this technologically advanced aircraft.”
Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream, commented on the decade-long relationship between the two companies. “Qatar Executive has been a valued Gulfstream customer for nearly 10 years. We are honoured to have them as our international partner for the launch and first deliveries of the all-new G700. We look forward to growing their fleet in the months ahead.”
The G700 distinguishes itself with superior design and innovative features. It offers a capacious cabin with four distinct living areas and a private rear stateroom equipped with a permanent bed. The aircraft’s lighting system is revolutionary, and it provides the industry’s lowest cabin pressure altitude along with 20 large windows to enhance natural light intake. Its cabin boasts an advanced ionizing system and maintains a whisper-quiet ambiance, ensuring optimal air quality and comfort.
With two G700s already incorporated and an additional eight expected, Qatar Executive is set to provide an unmatched level of luxury and performance. The fleet will commence full commercial operations in June, with the company already accepting pre-bookings from clients.
In a demonstration of their commitment to innovation and excellence in business aviation, Qatar Executive will showcase the G700 at the 2024 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2024) in Geneva, Switzerland. The event, scheduled from May 28-30, 2024, promises to be a significant venue for Qatar Executive to highlight their advanced fleet capabilities.
