For the second consecutive day, a flight has made an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport due to a bomb threat.

Airlive reports:

Flight #UK24 from Paris to Mumbai received a bomb threat, resulting in its prompt landing at Mumbai Airport under full security at 10:19 AM on Sunday.

The Boeing 787-9 aircraft, registered as VT-TSO, had departed from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. During the flight, a crew member discovered a handwritten bomb threat note on an airsickness bag.

In response, the crew informed the pilot, who declared a full emergency. The flight was directed to land at Mumbai Airport, where it was received in an isolated area with comprehensive security measures in place.

The flight was carrying more than 300 passengers and crew members. This marks the third incident within the week where bomb threats have led to emergency landings at Mumbai Airport.

Such recurrent incidents raise significant concerns about the safety and security protocols, highlighting the need for stringent measures to ensure the safety of air travel.
