Textron Aviation Debuts Advanced Military Trainer at Farnborough Airshow

Textron Aviation is set to make a significant return to the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), highlighting its industry dominance with over 1,700 Cessna and Beechcraft turbine aircraft operational across Europe and a global delivery record surpassing 250,000 units.

At this year’s event, the spotlight will be on the unveiling of Textron’s latest advancement in military aviation training technology. The company has announced that its new military multi-engine training aircraft will be showcased at FIA for the first time, marking a significant debut in Europe.

This cutting-edge aircrew training aircraft has recently been selected to spearhead the modernization of aircrew training programs for the United States Navy’s Multi-Engine Training System (METS) and Canada’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program. The aircraft boasts a range of specialized capabilities, including TACAN (Air to Air), angle of attack (AOA), V/UHF radio, digital audio system, engine trend monitoring, condition-based maintenance plus, an observer/jump seat, passenger mission seats, and full-face oxygen masks.

Textron Aviation will present the missionized Beechcraft King Air 260 at the airshow’s static display area, located at Stand No: A031, from July 22-26 at Farnborough Airport. This showcase underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in aviation technology.
