In 2023, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi expanded its fleet with four new A321 aircraft, bringing the total to 12. This expansion increased the airline’s seat capacity by 135%, offering 3.7 million seats for sale. The airline has also doubled its workforce in the same period, supporting local employment. It has invested in technologically advanced aircraft and collaborated with partners, regulators, and stakeholders to pioneer sustainable air travel.
Emphasizing its commitment to sustainability, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi recently partnered with the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure. This collaboration aims to promote eco-friendly practices and includes initiatives like online educational campaigns and the ‘Switch off Take off’ National Conservation programme. These efforts underscore the airline’s dedication to environmental stewardship while continuing to expand and enhance its services.
