Air France Expands 2024 Summer Schedule with 7 New Destinations

Air France, in a strategic move to diversify its network, has announced the expansion of its summer 2024 schedule, introducing new destinations and extending existing services from its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This development will see the inclusion of three new cities and the continuation of previously seasonal routes.

Starting April 2, 2024, Air France will commence services to Verona, Italy, with up to three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. These flights will be operated using Embraer 190 aircraft. In addition, the airline will introduce a weekly flight to Narvik, Norway, a gateway to the picturesque Lofoten Islands, every Saturday from June 15 to August 31, 2024, utilizing Airbus A319 aircraft. Another new destination, Kalamata in Greece, will be served with a weekly flight every Saturday from July 6 to August 31, also on Airbus A319.

Extending its reach in Norway, Air France will continue its flights to Tromsø, a route previously available only in winter, through the summer season. Up to two weekly flights will be operated from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, using Airbus A319 aircraft.

Air France Boosts North American Presence with 23 Cities in Summer 2024 Itinerary

Further expanding its transatlantic connections, Air France will resume daily flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, on May 13, 2024. This route, operated in summer 2023 via Delta Air Lines, will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The airline will also extend its service to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, USA, inaugurated in winter 2023, to the summer schedule of 2024, increasing the frequency to up to seven flights weekly, compared to three in the previous winter season. This route will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

With these additions, Air France’s North American network in the summer will encompass 23 cities, including Atlanta, Cancun, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal, New York JFK, Newark, Ottawa, Quebec City, San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle, Vancouver, and Washington DC.

Continuation of Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abu Dhabi Route Through Summer 2024

Additionally, the airline’s Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates service, introduced in winter 2023, will be extended through summer 2024. This route will also see a daily flight operated by A350-900 aircraft.
