Qatar Airways has recently announced the launch of an innovative in-house application designed to enhance the in-flight experience for its passengers. This application, a part of Qatar Airways’ ongoing digital transformation efforts, aims to provide Cabin Crew with real-time insights on flight and customer service information. It enables the crew to access passengers’ profiles, including details of privilege club and oneworld members, along with any special service requests and preferences. This advancement is set to offer a more personalized and integrated journey for passengers flying with the award-winning airline.
In the initial phase of this digital transformation, Qatar Airways plans to equip its Cabin Crew with over 15,000 mobile devices. The rollout of this project will occur in multiple stages. Future plans include expanding the application’s scope to encompass operations at Hamad International Airport and other international airports and lounges. This expansion is aimed at integrating passengers’ unique itineraries and requirements across all touchpoints of their journey.

At the 2023 World Airline Awards, managed by the international air transport rating organization Skytrax, Qatar Airways received the title of ‘World’s Best Business Class’ for the tenth time. The airline also won accolades for Best Airline in the Middle East, World’s Best Business Class Lounge, and World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining at the prestigious event held during the 2023 Paris Air Show. Additionally, Qatar Airways holds the distinction of being a seven-time winner of the “World’s Best Airline” award, as voted by Skytrax.
